ASIN incorrectly flagged as dangerous goods during shipment creation

Hi all, I hope someone has experienced this and can offer some advice.

I've been sending in and selling a particular ASIN for many years, it's basically a plastic video game accessory. No chemicals or electrical components.

Suddenly when I try to create a shipment I get a red error message stating "This product is regulated as a dangerous good and is not eligible for Amazon or Amazon partnered carrier. To continue please remove the product from the shipment".

I've ran the ASIN through the dangerous goods checker and it has come back as not dangerous goods. Amazon seller support have confirmed several times that asin * is not regulated as Dangerous Goods (Hazmat). All of our fulfilment centres are eligible to receive and ship your product.

They suggest, relisting the product and trying again. a week later after deleting, relisting and several cases, I'm no further forward. I still get the same error message when trying to ship to Amazon. I've also tried using Amazon barcodes, manufacturer barcodes and different shipping origins. The backend of the listing also looks fine.

Seller support seem to be out of suggestions now as the only advice they give is to relist and contact them again if the error persists, so I'm going round in a loop.

Any suggestions? This is holding up my entire shipment from this supplier.

I would escalate the case to managingdirector@amazon.co.uk if you keep going around in loops with SS

its a longshot, but look through the asin, all fields, and see if theres a word or phrase that might trigger a bot to label as hazardous. Had you or another seller changed anything just before it started doing this? I had an issue goods getting turned down for ads, when support looked at it it was fine so I guess bots were flagging it

Thanks for the replies, I'll bear the managingdirector@amazon.co.uk in mind for next time. In the end I managed to get the system to allow me to ship from the UK instead. So I've had to drop that ASIN from the shipment from China and ship it to me in the UK instead, hopefully I can still ship it in. I'll deal with it after Christmas when I need to restock again.

Couldn't see anything in the backend that would cause it, it's a very old listing so I try to avoid making any changes to avoid problems like this.
