Listing a product on AMAZ is EXHAUSTING!!!!!
Does anybody else feel like I do. That listing a product takes too much dam time and labor as compared to other sites.
My GOD why does AMZ make it so complicated?

Funny, for me it's just the opposite. I can list FAR more on Amazon in a day than on any other site.
But since you find Amazon so terrible, so hard to use, so time consuming, why not leave Amazon and concentrate on the other sites?

I don't get it - it takes a UPC scan, price, quantity if not using FBA, and boom you're done. Out of all of the complaints I have about selling on Amazon, that is not one of them.

WMT platform is 10x more tedious, opens 10x as many tabs as you work though, and if you think Amazon support is bad, Wlmart support is nonexistent, and you cannot get someone on the phone right away if needed.
I'll take this place over that place, all day, every day.

It depends on the category the product is listed in. If there are no compliance gates, I actually find it easy than other e-commerce sites and marketplaces. Have you tried Walmart? lol

I think listing on Amazon is not time consuming, it is quite fast once you are approved to sell the product/brand. Finding a product that is profitable is what is time consuming AND if you find a product that is profitable, but Amazon doesn't sell it, applying to be the first to create the listing is VERY time consuming but worth it if Amazon EVER does approve it.

I see your point. If you are creating an entire new listing there is tons of new information to be inputted. Often frustrating is when you are able to scan in the UPC, fill in minimal information and the item shows as supressed. Often I just have to input the Original suggested retail price, but other times the Department or Color is missing. I will input the correct information, however it won't accept it and continues to shows as Suprressed.
The Bay can be easier when you use the "Sell one like this" as long as you make sure the listing you are borrowing from is listed in the corrected category because if you switch it, you lose all the other info. However you need to add your own photos and while you aren't supposed to do it, many sellers use stock photos from the original retailer, however beware, because some of them will come after you., I think it takes several violations to actually get suspended though.

The biggest issue I find is if the algorithm hits a snag with the way I've listed a product, the category I've selected or included a word it doesn't like. Once you've been flagged it take a lot of time and patience to correct it. Do it correct the first time by familiarizing yourself with their guidelines FREQUENTLY as they change. I've been in Amazon purgatory with one product for longer than I know with little help from seller support, as let's honest, they are note takers, not problem solvers...

depends on the product. We are books sellers and I have a framework i've built to books to inventory so we can list 1000+ listings per day (that includes inventorying and stocking the items) without scaling up.

Yes, your feeling is right; the time we spend on the platform takes up the average time;Honestly, I'm tired.

Opposite for me as well. EBAY takes much longer but is much more fun to list.
