Reserved inventory (FC Processing) for 2 months

Hi everybody and especially Amazon Seller Support Team

Having checked the forum I found that at least five Sellers here on Amazon experienced the same issue, some of them posted 11 months ago and some later, none of them commented after if their issues had been finally resolved.

So now I have the same issue with my inventory, 55 listings were available for purchase before all of them moved to Reserved (FC Processing) state in the beginning of December 2023.

I have an open case 14594125471 (no result after 3 weeks), tried calling Amazon Seller Support and got recommended to keep waiting for the case resolution. Did anyone get their issue resolved with the reserved inventory? Who did help you if so?

I'm currently having the exact same issue. Without a notice or email, 70 of my ASINs (2,000+ units) were move to FC Processing on Feb 2. I made several cases and calls and nobody can provide an explanation or a solution.

Hi @Seller_PXdew93VjBR2W, while you're not contacting the support team here directly (those of us you see here are Community Managers in the forums) I was able to find your case and I'm sorry to read about this issue. I've bookmarked the case and see the recent correspondence advising that it is still under investigation, but if you don't receive an outcome in the next few days I will step in to escalate accordingly.

I just found this going on with one of my oversize items. 37 items held in FC processing, but these dont line up with orders (only 1 of 38 is showing as a customer order).

The missing 37 don't line up with anything...just 'sidelined'....

Appears to have happened on February 3.

Investigation is complete on your case and below are the findings:

We have reviewed your case and found that units are noted as reserved due to system update.

We request your patience until complete update. However, please be assured that all inventory will be flipped back to sellable as soon as update is completed.

I hope that we were able to assist you with investigation of reserved inventory of FNSKU XXXXXXXXX.

I am closing this case now. However, if you feel that you need more assistance on this case, please feel free to reopen the case.

Please note that for a new query (which is not discussed on this case), you would require to open a new case.

They closed the case. However, in a day or two, I wil reopen it again if my inventory is not available for sale. I will keep the case open until a resolution is reached.

make sure product/packaging dimensions are present in the sidelined listings....I noticed those values dropped out on the one item being held for 'evaluation' or whatever....perhaps they needed to reconfirm dimensions that have disappeared?

I re-entered the info yesterday, but today they are still in reserve so I don't know that is the problem here, but just putting it out there.

They are just giving me vague responses about a 'system update' and I am just supposed to wait indefinitely.

I wonder if you've been paying storage fees for these sidelined months?
