USPS Shipping Purchased via Amazon - Delivered but not Recieved
Is this is the best way to handle the delivered but not received (lost or stolen package) situation:
Hi [BUYER_NAME],
I'm sorry you didn't get your package from order [ORDER_ID]
Since I use Amazon's A-Z Guarantee shipping and this was not from our website, you will need to go through their customer service channel to get a refund as they have a delivery promise that will cover the cost so you can get a replacement at no extra charge.
I know it's a pain but there's no other way to do it since you don't have a product to return for a refund.
Go to the link below and follow the prompts:
1. Click "A delivery, order or return"
2. Search and select the QuikCamo product/order
3. Click "Says delivered, but it's not here"
4. Click "The entire package is missing"
5. Click "I need more help" (at the bottom)
6. Choose "Start chatting now" or "Request call now"
Let the customer service rep know that you did the following (feel free to copy/past this into your chat box)
I have verified my shipping address in "Your Orders" is correct
I have look for a notice of delivery attempt and there isn't one, but the tracking says it was delivered at my door/mailbox.
I have checked the Message Center and have a delivery confirmation in "Your Orders"
I checked your mailbox for 3 days following the delivery confirmation
I looked for a delivery photo
I checked around the delivery location for 3 days
I checked my delivery instructions in "Your Addresses" and the package was not found where I have requested and get other packages
I asked everyone in my household and my neighbors
I checked to see if someone else accepted the delivery
I have waited more than 48 hours for the package to be delivered as I understand that packages may be scanned as delivered before arrival
I went to track my package on the carrier's website and I contacted my local carrier and the delivery driver as I understand that they may have more information about the location of the package.
After doing all that, it appears that the package was lost or stolen and I'd like to get make an A to Z claim to get them items sent out again.
