Dealing with Fraudulent A-to-Z Claims: Buyers Falsely Claiming Partial Orders Received or not received when there is POD

Hello Fellow Sellers,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone else is dealing with fraudulent A-to-Z claims from buyers who falsely claim partial orders, claiming for orders not delivered when there is proof of delivery, even when we have solid proof (like pictures of packaging and item contents) that the order was correctly fulfilled. It’s been extremely frustrating to deal with these situations because, despite having clear evidence, Amazon often sides with the buyer, and we end up losing revenue.

One thing that’s been on my mind recently: Has anyone here ever considered or actually taken buyers or Amazon to small claims court to resolve these fraudulent A-to-Z claims? If so, what was your experience? Did the case have any significant outcomes? We’re considering taking legal action as a way to stop the pattern of abuse and protect our business.

Additionally, I’d love to hear if anyone has found any other strategies or safeguards that help minimize the risk of these types of scams. We've tried providing more detailed shipping photos, tracking information, but the issue persists.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences!

Thanks in advance!

I am getting hit with these fraudulent claims on a weekly basis.

I have been able to get in touch with some customers and they are purchasing from eBay. The ebay seller is then placing an order on Amazon and once it gets delivered opening an A-Z claim and getting a full refund even though we have full POD and dispatch with tracking.

Its an absolute joke. The ebay sellers are getting 100% profit and we are loosing out!
