Low inventory level fee but delay FBA checked in
From last year, we have many FBA shipment delivered but take more than normal time (more than 4 working days) to check in and receive. Even some shipment takes more than 2 months to complete! During this period, we are charged low inventory fee.
Amazon charges us for every non compliance but does not be responsible for their negligence. Is it fair?
Amazon charges low inventory fee, placement fee, long term inventory fee...

Hi @Seller_WVmYXq7lzvLDk,
Thank you for reaching out about this and for your patience here!
Please note that for normal receive and processing time, you’re less likely to incur the low-inventory-level fee as the fee considers long-term (past 90 days) inventory performance. For excessive inbound delays caused by Amazon or Amazon-managed services, such as the Amazon Partnered Carrier program and Amazon Global Logistics, Amazon will automatically reimburse you if the low-inventory-level fees are charged.
To qualify for the reimbursement, you must prepare your shipments for on-time pickup for Amazon-managed transportation services, and provide accurate shipment tracking information for non-Amazon managed transportation services. The reimbursement will occur by the 15th of the following month from when the fee was incurred. For example, May charges with excessive inbound delays will be credited back by June 30th.
To check if you received a reimbursement for an order, follow the below steps:
- a. Go to Seller Central Payments > Payments > Transaction View.
- b. Input the order ID in the Find a transaction field and click Search.
For more information, please refer to the Low-inventory-level fee help page.
If you have any additional questions or need further assistance with this, please let me know!
Thanks again,
Jameson
