Amazon refunded a customer and return never came back

For one of our FBM orders, Amazon's customer friendly policies already refunded a customer but the return has never arrived.

It seems Amazon refunded on first scan but Royal Mail never delivered. Royal Mail have advised to contact Amazon as Amazon issued the label and Amazon is the label owner.

We have raised a Safe-T claim today, looks we will loose the claim. So, in total we will loose "Cost of original product shipment" + "Cost of return label" + "Product which never came back".

Happy Selling on Amazon.

I'd try again with Royal Mail. I've had success using the online claim form and making it clear in the further information box that I have purchased the label via Amazon which in Amazons eyes makes me the label owner.

Unfortunately it's one of those annoying scenarios where what you have been told by Royal Mail is correct but Amazon say otherwise!

We have already contacted Royal Mail twice who have replied back advising they can only speak with Amazon as the label provider and a person with amazon email account.

This is a complete loss to us OR any other seller like us trading on Amazon.

Where can we report this outside of Amazon as an ecommerce process didn't put right in practise. Just a way for Amazon to get itself out of any lost return though still retain it's goodwill of a good customer experience making the seller chase Evri, Royal Mail for any return losses.

We are simply risking our money, business and life selling on Amazon.
