nventory capacity problem

Hello friends!

We use Amazon Logistics Fulfillment Service. The EU inventory is placed in Germany and Italy.

Starting from June 2025, our inventory capacity in the EU market is strictly limited. The inventory capacity in June, July and August is 2.83 cubic meters, and the current inventory is 4.31 cubic meters.

Currently, the inventory performance index IPI score in the EU market is 404 points.

We have two popular products that are about to sell out. Due to the inventory capacity limit, we cannot ship.

It takes almost two months to ship goods to Amazon warehouses in Germany and Italy. If the storage capacity is not released until September, it means that several out-of-stock products will not be sold for more than 4 months.

We also have new products that cannot be shipped to Amazon warehouses.

We took measures and applied for storage capacity twice through the storage capacity manager, but neither was approved.

Could you please tell us, friends in the forum, how we should solve the problem of storage capacity?

Hello @Seller_2xIgF1OlJINC3,

if you already requested an increase through the Capacity Manager twice but it was denied, it is not possible to change this at the moment. You might want to check the maximum reservation fee per cubic foot submitted in your request against the reservation fees for granted requests.

Please refer to the help pages Capacity Manager and FBA capacity limits for further information.

"We evaluate the availability of additional capacity in Amazon’s fulfillment centers regularly (for example, every 3 to 4 days), and we will distribute capacity through Capacity Manager based on availability. When we do so, we approve pending requests starting with the highest reservation fee per cubic foot and continuing in this order until the available capacity is fully allocated. If your request is not granted, this is because it did not rank sufficiently high compared with other requests through this process."

Best,

Emma
