Notification of Restricted Products

Amazon are refusing to rectify a mistake they made, here are the details....

  • An ASIN had been listed for approx. 3 years prior to my joining it.
  • Amazon suddenly sent me a Notification of Restricted Products Removal order for this ASIN
  • I submitted many, many support cases in protest trying to highlight that a genuine mistake had been made because the same product was still on sale under different ASINs, all to no avail
  • Amazon then added penalty points to my Account Health Rating causing it to be at risk of closure
  • Amazon then forced me to close my listing by giving me a deadline by which to comply
  • Amazon then forced me to submit a removal order by giving me a deadline by which to comply
  • Amazon then IMMEDIATELY reinstates the ASIN after I sent in this removal order!!

I have submitted a case to try and get a refund for the significant sum involved in completing the product removal order, but Seller Central are telling me that I cannot get refunded.

  • What other options do I have here, does anyone have advice on how to proceed in order to get refunded?

All suggestions will be very welcome at this point.

Leaving aside that the item is still for sale under different ASIN's, is it actually a restricted product or not?
