sudden drop in sales

HELLO members,

i am a newbie i need help in understanding how to scale up sales on Amazon. I only do FBA.

All of sudden my number of orders has came down to 50% of what it was. I have REPLENISHED my star products with good quantity but i still dont get the sales right. one of my start product picked up in 3 days from 7 to 39 to 66 and went out of stock then i replenished the inventory with large quantity but now only getting 2/3 orders a day. I assume below could be the reason for poor sales but i need help discover the right issue so i can address it.

1) The price of the product is changing quite often.

2) I realized i was spending way too much on advertising campaigns so stopped it for a time being.

3) Products which are not selling they sill sitting with amazon.

4) I have created few listings but haven't been able to send to the fulfillment center yet

Lack of advertising could be a reason why your product sales have decreased. If you were previously advertising and are not now then this could be part of the problem.

Price of the product changing frequently shouldn't be a problem but why is it changing so often? Is it to stay competitive?

This time of the year as well could see reduced sales. Lots of people on holiday and not buying. Sales do reduce during the school holidays. Add onto that people have increased cost of living pressures which could reduce disposable income for some.
