Brand Registry issues
We applied for a trademark through Amazon’s Service Provider Network (SPN) via the IP Accelerator for a brand
but received the following response:
“We are unable to approve your application as the brand xxxx is already enrolled in Brand Registry. To gain access to this brand, you will need to contact the current Rights Owner or Admin to be added as a user. If you are connected to the brand or wish to add a trademark, the existing Rights Owner(s) or Admin(s) can add the trademark.”
We are unable to contact the so-called “Rights Owner” mentioned in this message. We are, in fact, the legitimate and original owners of the brand in the UK. We have made several attempts to enroll in Brand Registry, but each time we receive the same rejection.
Our products are fully prepared and ready to be sold, but due to this issue, we are unable to create ASINs or list our items.
Is there an Amazon representative who can help us verify brand ownership and resolve this issue?
