SFP on Sunday
@Winston_Amazon @Julia_Amazon
SS as usual you get nowhere with, not raised a recent case, but anyone had any resolve over this at all?
SFP to Postcodes not covered by DPD. Sunday collections with SFP is the issue.
Example we have a parcel to go to postcode IV2 3UQ - Order No: 204-7234012-4641901 - This time it shows as to deliver by Tuesday, but often to other postcodes it shows a next day, Monday delivery.
It has to be shipped on Sunday, but DPD do not cover that postcode - so we have to use a different courier. Amazon Buy Shipping has to be used as SFP, and it shows either Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Evri Next Day. (Amazon's own courier does not cover the area where we are).
Royal Mail Tracked 24 = No collections on a Sunday. We can take to the Depot and it gets scanned, so shows we shipped on time, but Royal Mail do not process on Sunday, so effectively not in their system until Monday, they informed us that parcels just wait until the next Morning to get processed. A delivery on Tuesday may be possible, but as to an outlying postcode can take an extra day. (therefore, may arrive on time, but with other postcodes would be late if a Monday delivery was shown).
Evri Next Day = No collections on a Sunday. We can take to Evri and it gets scanned, but again, Evri do not process on Sunday, so effectively not in their system until Monday, and a delivery on Tuesday may be possible, but likewise, as to an outlying postcode can take an extra day. (therefore, the same as Royal Mail, may arrive on time, but with other postcodes would be late if a Monday delivery was shown).
It is also a pain having to go to the courier, no collection, and knowing a waste of time as it would be the same as their Monday collection anyway. Amazon settings need altering to show if not able to use DPD on a Sunday, that Royal Mail or Evri can be used on the Monday Collection slot.
I cannot see anyway to alter to show only DPD on a Sunday, it only allows alteration of collection times with the other couriers.
We ticked the box to show DPD is the only courier we use and unticked the others for all SFP., but that makes no difference.
SS just say a certain amount can be late, and if a Performance issue, let them know the reason. BUT, it still means Amazon then show that the Seller takes longer than normal, it shows that for all orders.
Any way around this that anyone knows and I've missed?
