Sorry to hear of this. Simply ludicrous.

It looks like you've exhausted the official and unofficial routes of appeal. If that was me, I would not hesitate to claim via the Small Claims Court.

Submit a small claims order against Amazon at your local county court and remember to apply for your costs as well as the laptop. Amazon will be forced to send a lawyer or make full payment to you. They can not hold this possible judgement against you selling on the platform. Remember to hold onto all the delivery evidence. I would also send a letter to the customer stating that you need a letter/ statement that they have not received the laptop. If they send a reply that helpful in your evidence pack if not let the judge make a decision on why they have failed to engage with you.

I am horrified at the non response of the MD. This is a growing problem and its about time they got a grip of it and stopped burying their heads in the sand. If they dont its only going to get worse.

Not what you want to hear but selling high value items on Amazon is just ridiculous you have no protection better of to remove all the high value stuff and advertise it elsewhere if maybey every body did this Amazon might sit up and notice something was wrong.

Going down the small claims court process, is this wise? dont think Amazon would allow us to keep selling if we were taking legal action against them?

HOW do they agree to an A-Z when we provide full SIGNED proof of delivery ???

This is the UPS Signed Proof of delivery, customers info redacted

there should be no way that Amazon agree to an A-Z on their delivery polices

We stopped selling high value products on Amazon a few years ago, there are safer platforms. Amazon's claims service is unfair to sellers.

Amazon is becoming a joke now, they NEVER listen to proof from sellers.

It is like Amazon is waging a war on their own sellers.

This company just does not give two hoots. They seem to facilitate a high level of customer fraud. I wonder why...? Could it be there 20% refund admin fee. We now PAINSTAKINGLY photograph the contents of all our parcels in a manner in which everything is clearly visible due to the countless claims of this & that is missing 'from my parcel'. With photographic evidence, we report every false claim to Amazon yet the refuse to tell us what they do with this information and I very much suspect they just allow these fraudulent customers to carry on buying and defrauding other sellers. There is most definitely a small amount of people out there who know how to abuse the Amazon system in their favour.
