Account Suspension due to restricted product policy violation

on 17th june 2023, I received restricted product policy violation, because it was a prescription required product, it was not gated product even, but , I acknowledged that violation, and my account got normal,

As in my knowledge, Amazon gives first chance,

I am selling on amazon for 1 year+, my account was running fine,

now I got email from amazon on 17th agust 2023, that submit all documents like invoices and letter of authoriztion,

and my account suspended,

at the end , I have to provide the relevant documents, but its in review for 4 days,

I do not understand, when amazon gives first chance to acknowledge violation, still account suspension?

You are confusing AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product. AMAZON is only interested in FEES. They will allow a chimpanzee to list if it means they collect $$$$$.

The first question is -- Are you authorized IN WRITING by the BRAND to sell their items on Amazon? That means from the BRAND, not some random wholesale source that can NOT authorize anything – they only SELL.

More and more brands have provided a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.

The second (and probably more important) question is -- Where are you sourcing your products? Are you buying direct from the brand or through an AUTHORIZED wholesale source?

There are a LOT of FAKE wholesalers out there ranging from places like Sam's Club, Costco, BJs Wholesale and others to all those Gray market providers touted on TikTok, Twitter, YouTube and other places. AND there are places like Ali#$#$ that sell counterfeits and knockoffs.

As you mentioned you acknowledge the violation, however as the notifications you provided specifically state that there was a concern with trying to verify the authenticity of both your account and inventory. This would be unrelated to a restricted product policy concern.

You will need to provide your business related information along with invoices or letter of authorization for the mentioned "KELO-COTE" brand. It also looks like we're requesting proof of shipment including delivery by carrier and bill of lading as confirmation.

These documents will be a requirement moving forward to reinstate your store.

As for the mentioned concerns by @Seller_FFe2noKABIbwu, I would encourgage you to create your own thread so that we can address you specific issues without taking away from @Seller_PbFrRGpHTbIX1topic or concerns.

The first thing I would like to do is again realign the situation. As you mentioned the concern of your account being deactivated.

The notification screenshots you provided only show the restricted product policy violation effecting your account health page and the listing itself, and that you had also acknowledged it, which if accepted removes the violation from the account health page. This is not the issue.

Your other notification shows concerns with losing the ability to create FBA shipments and a concerns where we requested an abundance of information. These notices advise on being under review and that you would be deactivated on 8/30/2023 in accordance with section 3.

This was mentioned on one of the notifications:

  • Valid ID proof document that includes full name, date of birth, ID number, expiry date, signature of the bearer (if applicable) and country of issuance or country of citizenship.
  • Bank statement or credit card statement issued in the last 180 days which includes full name of the individual or of the business, residential or business address, bank information.
  • Business registration documents which includes full name, address, signature, etc.
  • Invoices and receipts which includes item descriptions and quantities. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible.
  • Supplier information including the supplier’s name, supplier phone number, supplier address, and website for the following Shipment:
  • Proof of delivery by the carrier
  • Bill of lading
  • Import and export documents commercial invoices, , export origin location (port city), import destination location, brand information, quantity, date, buyer information, import and export manifest (and information submitted to Customs and Border Patrol
  • Authorization letters from brands and licensed brand distributors.
  • Brand: KELO-COTE

This is your reason for deactivation, we require all of this information in it's original format, if we're rejecting your documentation, I would encourage you to communicate with the brand to ensure they reprint or issue required documentation. The first thing I would like to do is again realign the situation. As you mentioned the concern of your account being deactivated.

The notification screenshots you provided only show the restricted product policy violation effecting your account health page and the listing itself, and that you had also acknowledged it, which if accepted removes the violation from the account health page. This is not the issue.

Your other notification shows concerns with losing the ability to create FBA shipments and a concerns where we requested an abundance of information. These notices advise on being under review and that you would be deactivated on 8/30/2023 in accordance with section 3.

This was mentioned on one of the notifications:

  • Valid ID proof document that includes full name, date of birth, ID number, expiry date, signature of the bearer (if applicable) and country of issuance or country of citizenship.
  • Bank statement or credit card statement issued in the last 180 days which includes full name of the individual or of the business, residential or business address, bank information.
  • Business registration documents which includes full name, address, signature, etc.
  • Invoices and receipts which includes item descriptions and quantities. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible.
  • Supplier information including the supplier’s name, supplier phone number, supplier address, and website for the following Shipment:
  • Proof of delivery by the carrier
  • Bill of lading
  • Import and export documents commercial invoices, , export origin location (port city), import destination location, brand information, quantity, date, buyer information, import and export manifest (and information submitted to Customs and Border Patrol
  • Authorization letters from brands and licensed brand distributors.
  • Brand: KELO-COTE

This is your reason for deactivation, we require all of this information in it's original format, if we're rejecting your documentation, I would encourage you to communicate with the brand to ensure they reprint or issue required documentation.
