How Amazon Pre Paid Return Labels work??
Hi there,
We're currently enrolled in Amazon Pre Paid Return Labels for our marketplaces in Spain, among others. However, every time a customer requests a refund, they come to us asking us to send them a label, which makes me think that no Amazon label is being generated. How does this service work from the customer's point of view? Should he receive it straight after asking for a refund? Could someone explain to me how this program works? Thank you

I understand you have issues to get the pre-paid return labels being sent to the buyers automatically.
The program should work as per the following:
- Customer Requests Refund: When a customer in Spain wants to return an item and get a refund, they initiate the return process with Amazon.
- Amazon Generates Return Label: After the customer initiates the return, Amazon is supposed to automatically generate a prepaid return label for the customer. This label should have the necessary information for the customer to print out and affix to the return package.
- Customer Receives Return Label: Typically, the customer should receive the prepaid return label directly from Amazon after requesting the refund. They should not have to contact you to request the label.
- Customer Uses Label to Return Item: The customer can then use the prepaid return label provided by Amazon to ship the item back at no cost to themselves.
However, based on your experience, it seems that the process is not working as expected. To address this issue, I would recommend the following:
- Check your seller account settings to ensure the Prepaid Return Labels program is properly configured and enabled for your Spain marketplace.
- Reach out to Amazon seller support to understand why the automated label generation is not working as expected, and request assistance in resolving the issue. Make sure to contact from your Spain account.
