Getting Ungated as a new seller
Hello fellow sellers and Amazon advisers,
I recently applied for approval to sell a branded product on Amazon, and my request was rejected despite submitting a legitimate invoice from a manufacture. I purchased products directly from them. The invoice I provided meets all of Amazon’s invoice requirements, including my company details, product descriptions, and quantities.
However, I did not receive a specific reason for the rejection, which makes it difficult to understand what went wrong. As a legitimate seller with a valid invoice, I’m unsure why my approval request was denied. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any insights on why this might happen?
I would really appreciate any advice or guidance from the community or Amazon advisers to help me resolve this.

Ungating isn't guaranteed even with valid invoices. If it was a generic rejection then there isn't much you can do other than build the account a little with other products and then apply again.

If you're 100% sure the invoice ticks all the boxes, just keep submitting until its accepted.
It's not uncommon for the same invoice to be rejected 9 times, but be accepted on the 10th... I wish it wasn't like this but it is.
The most common mistakes for being rejected;
- File must be in a PDF format
- Ensure all the manufacturers details are visible... address / company name etc
- Ensure it actually says 'Invoice' somewhere
- Ensure it's obvious the invoice relates to what you're ungating!
+ Really important... Don't edit the document yourself, if its wrong then reach out to the manufacturer to issue a new one!
Good luck
