Shipping Bookmarks Via 'Buy Shipping' but VTR keeps declining - what to do?

I have been using Amazon Buy Shipping to send out my Bookmarks / Sticker Sheets which used to be sent out using Stamps / Frankings before the new rule kicked in. Now my VTR is very low and Amazon keeps churning out same automated unhelpful responses. Can some one pls help?

If you’ve been buying ALL your labels from Amazon, then all your despatches will be valid for VTR so you will gradually see your VTR improve. Give it a couple of weeks or so while the invalid ones drop off.

Once they drop off, it will either be N/A or 100%, not quite sure which, it may depend on what service you use. But either will be ok.

As already said, as long as you are using Buy Shipping then all your shipments WILL be validated, but it will take a while before you see your VTR start to increase.
Currently the report is for shipments with a Promised Delivery Date of 7 Apr 2023 - 6 May 2023, so it won’t be until all those have dropped off the report that you will see it start to creep up.
They will still continue to send out warning emails but you can ignore them !

Hello @GLMCo,

Based on your post, we understand your VTR has dropped below the 95% threshold, and you need help as there has been a recent change with Royal Mail stamps/franking.

The Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) is all shipments with a valid tracking number as a percentage of total shipments during a given 30-day time period. VTR only applies to seller fulfilled orders.

Amazon’s customers depend on tracking numbers to find out where their orders are and when they can expect to receive them.

The following shipments are considered as exempted shipments

  1. Domestic Orders delivered through a carrier which is not integrated with Amazon
  2. Digital products, e.g. Audio Book
  3. EU Cross border deliveries, e.g. deliveries that are ordered on Amazon.co.uk and are dispatched from an EU country
  4. International deliveries (excluding deliveries that are dispatched from China): International packages that are ordered on Amazon.co.uk but dispatched from outside the UK or China
  5. Domestic deliveries dispatched through un-tracked delivery methods, for example Royal Mail Stamps/Franking
  6. Deliveries that are dispatched using labels purchased on Amazon’s Buy Shipping Services (also known as MSS)

Note: If are using Royal Mail stamps/franking, your shipment will now only be exempt from VTR if you buy Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class letter stamps through Amazon Buy Shipping. Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class letter stamps are available through Amazon Buy Shipping at no additional cost.

For more details, please visit Valid Tracking Rate (VTR), Valid Tracking Rate FAQs.

However as your issue is unique and needs dedicated support, we would request you to kindly contact Seller Support team for dedicated assistance.

Thank you @NoOneToldMeIHadTo, @JillyB1, @Postees1 for your valuable inputs.

I appreciate you providing updates about your account. Please continue to post any relevant information in relation to this topic so it can be addressed at a later time.

Best Regards,
Virgil.
