A few weeks ago, the brand name of one of our products was changed, and it was immediately enrolled in the Transparency program. Additionally, the images on the entire listing were altered, and we are unable to revert these changes.

This same issue occurred with the same product at the end of last year. We had to escalate the matter to the executive team, which resulted in the product being offboarded from the Transparency program. We believed the issue was resolved and tried to enroll it in Transparency but faced issues because it was just recently offboarded. What is frustrating we are the true rights owner and face issues enrolling however a hijacker is able to go around the system and do it.

We own the GS1 certificate for this product, and it should never have been allowed to enroll in the Transparency program. The manufacturer is kicked off. This seller is not the rights owner.

We raised a violation through the Brand Registry, and while the team confirmed that the brand name was corrected (which still is not), we are still struggling to get the product offboarded from the Transparency program. We will be blocked from selling the product after Aug 2,2024
