Amazons "Other" charges can someone explain. Adjustments are in the thousands of dollars and no answer from Amazon
Is this the new way for Amazon to take every penny in profits? Seller support has been useless for a very long time so getting an answer from them is pointless. But all a see is thousands of dollars in "adjustments" on orders. Shipping is paid through Amazon and some orders shipping "adjustments" doubles the shipping cost. Weird thing the boxes and sizes have been the same for 4 years. So how does Amazon get to pocket this extra money with no explanation or a support team that can explain and not just reply with a copy and paste answer.

Hello @Seller_9jYZMo2jvtfO1. Thank you for checking in about your recent transactions.
Are you asking about Carrier shipping correction adjustments you are receiving on Transaction type: "Shipping services purchased through Amazon"? Or are you looking for more details on specific "Other" transactions?
If you can provide a Case or Order ID(s) I can review those details and provide additional details about those charges.
If these are Transaction type: Shipping services purchased through Amazon and Product Details: Adjustment, you can see more details by clicking on the linked transaction amount. This will show the transaction details, including differences between the original-label and carrier-audited dimensions and weights.

Heres how this most commonly happens to me:
1. If you are using FedEx to ship polybags, don't. I don't know what it is about FedEx's system but they consistently overcharge me on dimensions when I use polybags.
2. Are you shipping USPS, but out of Zone? USPS has recently cracked down on shipments and what Zone they come from. They will now consistently charge for shipping parcels from a different Zone from which they're printed from. I live on the border of a USPS Zone, and sometimes I have early morning business on the other side of it. If I take my parcels with me and ship them from a different location, I will receive extra charges, even if the new shipping location is closer to the parcel's destination.
Let me know if either of these are applicable to you so I can validate my sanity.

Its Amazon stealing YOUR money.
Like when you by a car on there is a line on the sales form under "processing fees" called "ADR" - which stands for "added dealer profit".
