Shipping to Brazil

I am trying to fulfill an order from a customer living in Brazil and so far the cheapest shipping option I have found is $30+ which will leave with about $20 loss. Any recommendation? This is my first international order.

My recommendation is that you do not allow any sort of international ordering on Amazon.

Getting it there is only part of it. Think of Amazon's generous return policy.

Do yo have the buyer's CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Fisicas)? Amazon does not make that mandatory, yet the odds that the package will actually be delivered without it are slim.

we don't sell in brazil due to the high levels of theft and fraud by brazilian customs.

Its funny cuz on Etsy, I charge for intl shipping, like I do here. But on Etsy it tells me "you are charging too much for shipping" when I shipped an order to Canada last week... It cost me $16.94 for the shipping, and I charge $18. Because Etsy charges their fees on the shipping too... I make ZERO on shipping international. Im not trying to make money either.

On Amz I shipped an order to Trinidad and Tobago last week - Shipping Charge was $22.90 - I charged $24.50. $30 doesn't seem like too much for shipping if it weighs more than 4oz.

If you are shipping international, and not charging shipping, you are absolutely going to lose money every single time. Customers ordering on Amazon.com website absolutely know that when they order international, they should expect to pay for shipping, otherwise they should be ordering on their own countries respective amazon site.

Hi @Seller_LSfUcyDQrdKbd,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help. You will have to fulfill the order or else your metrics will be impacted. I would recommend doing a review of your shipping templates.

Within a shipping template, you can configure your transit time and shipping fees for both domestic and international deliveries.

Best,

Dominic
