FBA Shipment Enrouted to a different location without informing the Seller Case ID ending in 93741

Moderators,

This is regarding Case ID ending in 93741 for an FBA shipment ending in 77HR. The shipment was picked up by the carrier ESTES on 10/16/2024 in Mesa, AZ. The shipment was supposed to be delivered to RYY2 - White, GA. According to the BOL (ARN) and PRO number, the shipment arrived at the destination on 10/24/2024, however, the seller central didn't show any update. Upon inquiring with ESTES, we were told that the shipment did arrive at the destination on 10/24/2024, however, the FBA focal person re-routed this shipment to HOMESTEAD, FL. The shipment then arrived at the new destination on 10/31/2024 at 5:27 PM and the delivery was marked completed on ESTES website. On the other hand, the Seller Central shows this shipment was delivered to the first destination on 10/24/2024 and there was no update until 11/13/2024, whereas, on 11/13/2024 it shows a scheduled pickup in Mesa, AZ again. We don't know why it is scheduled for pickup at our location again, while it is sitting in HOMESTEAD, FL. Now, the Delivery Appointment says "Closed".

Why would someone from FBA re-route the shipment to a new destination without informing the seller? This is in my opinion a violation of shipment policy, if I am not wrong. This needs to be investigated immediately.

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to try to help with this. I took a look at the case ID and I can see that the team has provided the correct info. We have determined that the shipment is not yet eligible for reconciliation. If you wait until the shipment is eligible helps ensure that the products in your shipment have had sufficient time to reach the appropriate fulfillment centers. This includes your products that need to be reshipped to other locations in order to be closer to customers.
