GL Code Reassigned to Restricted Category – Ongoing Issue with Amazon Internal Team for Over a Week

I’ve been selling a product as a brand owner for over three years, but this Q4, Amazon started reassigning the products's GL code (category) to gl_entertainment_collectibles and gl_coins_collectibles, which are restricted categories. I’ve contacted Amazon Seller Support to have it corrected, and while they successfully changed it back to the appropriate GL code once, Amazon reverted it to the restricted category shortly after.

When I reached out to Seller Support again, they informed me that the issue needs to be handled by Amazon’s Internal Team. However, despite following up regularly over the past week, I’ve only been told that they’ll get back to me in 24-48 hours, but no one has responded

This is severely impacting my business, especially since my product is highly seasonal during Q4. Does anyone have suggestions on how to expedite this process or escalate it effectively?

I had the same issue with "gl_entertainment_collectibles" a few days ago. You have kept trying to reach out to seller support with a request to change GL on the product until you connect to the right person from the catalog team.
