Account got deactivated even after 6+ years of no inventory/selling
My account was deactivated 6+yrs after ceasing all selling activities because of a product that I might have listed 10yrs ago - Product was actually an amazon suggestion for my regular prime account which based on my browsing history at the time. Apparently 10yrs later, the ASIN now violates amazon's policy!
Background:
I stopped all selling activities in 2017 and created removal orders to destroy all my inventories in the various warehouses. I didn't want to be charged long-term storage fees because I was immigrating and needed some time to settle down in the new country.
But in 2023 (over 6yrs after removal orders), I got a product violation notice. I tried to explain to the agent at the time but he kept driving me in circles with templated replies. Unfortunately, I got frustrated and just left it.
Now, in 2025 (10yrs after amazon suggested the product to me in 2015 i.e my prime buying account), I realize I have even more violations - ID verification (easily dealt with) and suspected IP violations. I have closed out many of them and my Account Health page is now reading no violation with a score of 200.
Because the only explanation I could think of that triggered these violations are the listing themselves (since there is no physical product in the warehouse and no selling activity for years), I naively thought deleting this listing would demonstrate to amazon that I had no intension of selling the ASINs again - that's after I thought I had closed out the issues.
But, in the past 2 weeks, even after explaining the situation, the appeal has been denied 2 times without any context - just saying something like we do not have sufficient information to reinstate the account. Same goes for the case ID where I keep getting standard template reply - Deleting your listings on the affected ASINs however does not sufficiently address the reason for the violation and will not result in the violation removal from your "Account Health" page.
But as noted above, my Account Health page is now reading no violation with a score of 200.
In my attempt to truly understand the origin of the product (that's how I knew it was an amazon suggestion), I dug through ALL my order reports and found out that I never sold this item at all. In addition, I have no record of creating the listing - usually I get an email saying a listing has been created, but not this one. This and the fact that I had no sale at all in all those years of supposedly listing this product, leaves me questioning if I actually had the physical item in inventory at any time.
I am trying to be hopeful of my latest on-going appeal that it will be approved and my account re-instated. But I want to ask proactively for help just in case there's no change.
I will appreciate if anyone can educate me on how to escalate this so someone who can actually review/verify my claims. At the very least, I was expecting concrete guidance from the appeal and the submitted case on what actionable steps to take. I will be super grateful for your insights.
Thanks in advance

"I stopped all selling activities in 2017 "
"Apparently 10yrs later, the ASIN now violates amazon's policy!"
They have been known to go back even further than that. You don't say if you ever sold any of the item, but just having listing with no sales has ended up with suspensions lately!
If you have been able to open any cases provide a number so any MOD that happens to drop by can look it over to see if they can help.
Without a case number in the posts it wastes time for everyone. I no longer tag anyone if there is no case #.
They have to ask for it and then wait for a reply from the poster and then the poster has to wait again for the MOD to find the case, and then more waiting.…

I apologize to the MODs here. I should have stated the case # in the original post.
CASE # 17574067551
My last appeal just got denied again. Here's the reply:
"We completed our evaluation of your submission. We do not have enough information to remove the violation at this time."
I will appreciate if anyone can help look into this case (attached files and screenshots) and advise me on when actions I am supposed to take or information that I am supposed to give.
Thanks
