Best Path for Reinstatement After Mixed Bin Check Results – ASIN B0CJH7YS4V Suppression

Hello fellow sellers and community managers,

I’m currently dealing with a reinstatement issue for ASIN B0CJH7YS4V, which was suppressed following customer complaints about receiving incorrect product variations. After investigating, we identified that a shipment error led to sample and unrelated products being mislabeled under this ASIN’s FNSKU and sent to Amazon fulfillment centers via an FBA shipment.

We’ve since taken corrective actions, including:

Opening a Bin Check case (ID: XXXXX) that is still in progress across 66 FCs.

Amazon has already moved 102 units to Unfulfillable inventory and confirmed defects in some FCs (e.g., SLC1, GYR1), while others have cleared the product (e.g., CLE3, CLT4, DEN3).

Internally, we’ve identified the mislabeling issue and taken steps to prevent recurrence.

I spoke with Account Health Support, and the specialist recommended that once all bin checks are complete, we proceed with the "I understand the policy and acknowledge the violation" appeal path, rather than providing evidence.

However, the recommendation wasn’t definitive — they acknowledged that option 2 ("I have evidence to support my compliance") might carry more weight, especially since we have documentation and partial bin check clearance.

My questions for the community:

Has anyone here experienced a similar situation with mixed bin check results?

Would you recommend proceeding with a straightforward acknowledgment-based appeal once bin checks finish, or continue gathering defect-free bin check evidence to strengthen a "compliance proof" approach?

Is it ever advisable to open a second bin check case with clean VOC-based orders to isolate good inventory for appeals?

Any input from community managers or sellers who’ve navigated reinstatement in similar cases would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Good Evening @Seller_YZHj9MMTd5qx8,

The partner team has followed up with me and shared that so far, no defects have been found in your bin check cases but you are still pending the results of some final bin checks.

It would seem that the bin checks are finding some units were correctly labeled, or the units checked were from a separate shipment without labeling defects.

Once you receive this remaining information from the outstanding bin checks, you can contact Account Health for further appeal support using the Account Health 'Call Me Now' button in the Account Health dashboard.

Feel free to let us know how your discussions with Account Health go once your final bin check cases come in if you would like to keep us posted. Hope you have a lovely rest of your Wednesday and take care.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
