Selling Products That Has Charging Cable Compatible to iPhone/iPad

I've been selling this 3 in 1 Retractable cable for the past 5 years. It has Micro USB, USB-C, and USB-i (iPhone/iPad compatible). Would the charger that is compatible with Apple product be consider an infringement? It is not a lightning cable. I see many other sellers selling product with cable that are compatible to apple.

However I do see there is a patent D0813820 which is a design Patent for the charging port of the lightning cable where it is inserted to the Apple product. See image attached

I'm asking because one of my product got taken down.

When I first started selling this product, I listed as lightning cable. Amazon told me if I list it as "compatible to Apple" it would be okay.

What are your thoughts on this? Anyone experience this before?

What can I do to help this situation?

Good Evening @Seller_uqerudgPIEH0q,

I'd first recommend reviewing the Intellectual Property Policy for Sellers - FAQ about Trademarks help page. Specifically, #6 C which discusses making truthful statements that a product is compatible with a trademarked product.

We also have a help page regarding Selling cell phones and cell phone accessories and our Consumer Electronics style guide which I am linking -->HERE<-- which are all great resource that share how to phrase bullet points that are compatible with a trademarked product.

If there is a specific case you would like me to review, please share the CASE ID you filed with Selling Partner Support with us and I'd be happy to share any context regarding the investigation that I can.

Looking forward to your response soon. Have a lovely rest of the week.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
