I've received a 'Listing policy violation' on Amazon.de for ASIN B09VM6YJ2B with reason, 'Product Detail Page Tampering'.
I didn't create the ASIN for this item and haven't added any detail page contributions (correct or incorrect.)
The next steps on the violation state to choose either "I understand the policy and have evidence or documentation to submit for review to confirm my compliance with the policy" or "I understand the policy and acknowledge the violation."
Any advice on how to proceed here? I agree that the bullet points on the detail page (added by someone else) are incorrect, yet as I'm not the brand owner, I have no chance in being able to make any changes.
I tried to select "I understand the policy and acknowledge the violation" but as the incorrect details are still on the listing, Amazon have rejected that appeal.

You need to Edit the listing, the brand is Mattel.
If that is not accepted, raise with SS, but as they are always useless, they will say brand registered and you are stuck!
Then you can only 'Delete Product & Listing' + then 'Close Listing'
If it shows no impact on your account, you may want to accept the violation, if something is wrong on the listing.
Remember Amazon always 'think' they are right, even when they are wrong, it is so annoying, and they clearly do not want known brands and licenced products on their site from all the actions they are taking to remove everything except for items they sell themselves (hich generally they win the Buy Box, but you can add ok as wel) and unknown brands, that are often not even branded on the item, only generic items with a sticky label on the packaging (Amazon make a lot though on those items, importation, storage, shipping, returns processing)
In theory you shouldn't have listed against it if the details were wrong, as you were advertising a product differently to how it actually is.
In theory, you should have reported it being wrong and then listed only once it had been fixed.
If even as much as10% of the 'theory' behind how things should be done on Amazon actually worked, it would be a much easier place to sell.
