Received Negative feedback over a Product deliverd at mailbox yet not at the front door of the house
Can anyone believe this!
We just received NEGATIVE feedback because USPS delivered Item purchased at Mailbox and not at the front door of the house! and of course Amazon denied removal.
Buyers Feedback Claims: "Bar arrived via US mail. They put it in the mailbox outside. I live in Florida. Bar was completely melted. Packages normally come to my door"
As per receiving this feedback, I contacted Amazon requested a removal for the Feedback has nothing to do with our Store service to Buyer nor Quality of the Item yet it had to do with USPS and their Postman not feeling like knocking on someones door to deliver the goods inside their refrigerator. To our request all I got from Amazon in response was:
We have reviewed your request for feedback removal. In this case, the feedback you received does not meet Amazon's criteria for feedback removal. Thus, we cannot remove the specified feedback.
Since buyers feedback are direct reflection of their Amazon shopping experience, we can only remove feedback for these reasons:
- The feedback includes words commonly understood to be obscene or profane.
- The feedback includes seller or buyer-specific, personally identifiable information, including email addresses, full names, or telephone numbers.
- The entire feedback comment is a product review.
Note: Product reviews are buyers’ opinions depending on whether they liked or disliked the products. This is assuming that they received the product in their expected condition. Comments about the product description's accuracy or the product's condition or both will be retained because sellers are responsible for delivering a product that matches to the description on the product detail page. This includes ensuring new products arrive in an undamaged, complete, and working state and used products arrive as described.
I mean... this is way beyond ridiculous, but then again we are talking Amazon's crystal gen buyers... As seller WE DID ALL available to us to ensure Buyer experience was exceptional... we packed accordingly, we shipped same day Order was placed with next day delivery so Buyer received Item in less than 24 hours BUT! we did not bribed USPS to go have a tea with Buyer and deliver the good right in the palm of their hands.
And this my fellow readers is to proof that for Amazons us SELLERS are just the pawn in the game. We are not valuable to them... OH YES, we SELLERS do all the work and we also pay the for it

I was able to investigate the review.
Did you request to remove the review and get an immediate rejection? If so, did you try re-opening the case again? Did you buy your shipping label through Amazon buy shipping?
Y si empiezas a vender sorullitos sere tu proximo cliente =D

Question for those Amazon Moderators out there...
Isn't Amazon Policy that when Seller buy the shipping through Amazon, this qualifies for a strike-through according to Amazon policy because the review was the fault of the carrier?
Then... WHY am I and my STORE being penalized for:
1) USPS doing their job correctly... which is leaving packages in the mailbox
2) USPS NOT CATERING to the WHIM of a self centered BUYER that wanted special delivery to his front door when such service was not requested (needless to say... NOR OFFERED)

So just today I received response from Amazon Selling Team... and it goes like this:
Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
Thank you for reaching out to us. This is Mamatha and it will be a pleasure to assist you today.
We understand that you have contacted us regarding removal of feedback.
Please be informed that product condition-related feedback (damaged, incomplete, used sold as new, incorrect item shipped, not as ordered) on merchant-fulfilled orders is not eligible to remove.
We would expect that if a seller is shipping a product that is temperature sensitive like chocolate, it should be packaged to with stand the conditions without being damaged before delivery.
To help us continually improve, we ask that you take a moment to complete our survey below to tell us about your experience with this specific interaction.
Were you satisfied with the support provided?
Of Course, this is Typical BS from Amazon... where Buyers are right and Sellers are wrong. So I decided to reopen my case and wrote this:
This is totally preposterous and furthermore, discouraging... for we Sellers are the big loosers when it comes tio Deal with Amazon and their "Seller Support Team"... Support? What Support? if in the end you (THE TEAM) have arbitrarilly decided that me (THE SELLER) does not know how to pack a perishable Item, which by the way... Ive been selling and shipping in the same manner for the past 4 years with NO ISSUES!
So, judging by the automated response... Its my fault as Seller and not Buyers fault whom forgot to cheeck his mailbox for the Perishable Item Ordered "online' rather than go to the Supermarket.
Just to prove my point...
Order was placed: Tuesday, July 30, 2024 (7;15 pm EST)
Order Processed: Wednesday, July 31, 2024 (8:00 am EST)
Order Shipped: Wednesday, July 31, 2024 (12:41 pm EST)
Order Delivered: Thursday, August 1, 2024 ( 11:54 am EST)
NEGATIVE REVIEW from BUYER : MONDAY, August 5, 2024 ... Claming he lives in Florida where there is high heat and Item was melted for USPS left it at Mailbox.
Of Course, you leave a perishable Item in a Mailbox for 3 Days ... YES it will be melted and damaged.
YET, it is my fault as Seller that Buyer forgot to check his mailbox. Not withstanding Amazon numerous notices letting him know the shipping and deliveries timetables.
So, thanks for nothin Selling Partners Team
So, Ill just reiterate... Thanks for nothing Selling partner Support for I know this Forum posts are as worthless as contacting the department
