Turbo Tax experience?

Hello Sellers, hope y'all are well!

Last year was my first year selling on Amazon, and I just received my 1099. Do yall recommend using Turbo Tax or going through an account? If you have used Turbo Tax, please share your experience with them.

thanks!

I've used HR Block (formerly TaxCut) software for years; AFAIK, very similar to TurboTax, and found it quite easy to use.

However, if this is your first time, and you don't feel comfortable with things like COGS, inventory write-offs, and other factors that may not be part of your daily thinking, but matter at tax time, then consulting an accountant* is a smart move. Not only can they help with your taxes, but a good one will point out anything you may be doing wrong in your bookkeeping, or just give some basic recommendations. Then you stand a good chance of feeling confident enough to do it on your own.

*Seek out a full-time tax professional; CPA is best. Do NOT go to one of the pop-up income tax places that spring up in vacant buildings this time of year.
