Fed Up with Safe-T Claim Denials

In the past week, I've had 3 Safe-T Claims denied for this reason: The issue you reported is not covered by the Prepaid Returns for Seller Fulfilled Order program.

2 were makeup products that were returned used. Not defective, customers did not like the shades of the items. This means the products were returned NOT in original condition and I can no longer sell them. I was fully denied, i couldn't even charge a restocking fee since they were refunded at first scan.

Now today, a buyer sent me back a completely different product, an old makeup product, used as well. They sent me a message on the day that it was delivered and said they didn't get it. I told them to wait a couple of days to see if it shows up. They then opened up a return within a couple of hours of "not getting it" stating the wrong item was received. I was pretty much prepared to receive a fraudulent return and it certainly was. How can something like this be denied? I am so fed up.

Would love some help from a mod if possible. I can live with the first 2 but the 3rd issue is ridiculous.

wow...

I specialize in discontinued, hard to find items; mainly beauty products such as cosmetics, haircare and skincare.

You are not allowed to sell products here that you did not purchase from a brand approved, wholesale distributor. You are especially not allowed to sell discontinued cosmetics, especially since they have "good by" dates

Looking at your listings, I can see that you are also not brand approved to sell any of these brands on Amazon

Due to the nature of these types of products, all returns must be in original, unused condition. No testing of any kind please. Any item not returned in original condition will be subject to a restocking fee.

Returns that do not follow these instructions may be subject to no refund if the product cannot be resold.

You might want to check your return policy for compliance as well....

Take a look at Amazon's "sourcing guidelines" in help, as well as "invoice requirements"

Thanks for looking to the forums for some insight on SAFE-T Claims, @Seller_PuwCf7Ov9vdqS- and I do appreciate the other seller in the thread for taking the time to offer some feedback on selling in this category. While potentially off-topic, it is important to ensure proper authorizations and invoices are in place.

Regarding the SAFE-T Claims in focus, you may find value in reviewing this post breaking down best practices for submitting claims, and appealing decisions if necessary. Including complete photographic evidence, along with documentation supporting your case that shows the items that were sent vs the items that were returned.

If you've already completed appeals for the claims in question, please do share the relevant order IDs so I can take a look from my end.

Thanks,

Danny
