SAFE-T CLAIMS POLICY NOT FOLLOWED BY AMAZON

Is anyone else facing issues with SAFE-T claims refunds where EASY SHIP destroys the product during delivery or return?

I recently filed a claim for 6 low value items received back from customer totally broken (coffee mugs). The damage was assessed to be only 35%. Evidently according to Amazon SAFE-T claims department - a coffee mug with smashed, cracked and broken can resold at a discounted value!!

On what planet are these people living to think that any customer will buy chipped and cracked coffee cups with broken off handles? Amazon's own SAFE-T policy clearly states that refund should be 80% in case the item is no longer usable or sellable.

On top of this - the value of the items sold is AED150, and the reimbursement is AED29. Can someone please explain me the 35% math on this.

So frustrating!

Are you able to explain if the RETURN was RTO or RTN?

If the RETURN was RTO, were these items packed property with protection?
