Generic Listings

Generic Listings.
I added an item, manually on the Amazon.co.uk website, Header, Bullet Point etc all ok.
The Image often seems to take a while, but in the end they are ok. This time, however, the image online shows a piece jewelery, even though I added a co-ax cable. The model number also changed!
Clearly, somehow the listing has already been hijacked, but only partially. I have seen this happen before, usually though with old listings, no stock, etc, now it seems some are waiting for new items being listed and hijacking them, immediately.
Amazon SS are asking me for the makers website, proof, etc. - even though I was the one that listed this only a few hours ago.
I can only assume an inside job, as the Seller that has partly hijacked the listing, could not prove anything, so why were they not asked for proof, as I was? - how are they set at a higher status to alter a listing than the originator? - you have to wonder what power some hijackers have at Amazon.
Being a Generic product, the whole point is there are no links to the factory, otherwise it would have a brand name on it! (We did not have a EAN exception, so again how did the hijacker have those details?)
Case 948263472
Clearly something going on at Amazon to allow this, and then refusing to correct it. Anyone else had similar issues?
(I know I can keep making Generic listings until it works, as no brand on this item, but I should not have to - even more concerning is that Amazon clearly allow hijackers to alter listings, without any proof of anything).

Hello @Seller_IQo80d99W2DzP,
I'm Sarah with Amazon.
Did you manage to solve this issue or is still ongoing?
Unfortunately I cannot find this case ID (maybe is an internal investigation).
Kind regards,
Sarah.
