seller central for KDP authors

hi~ Anyone has some experience leveraging seller central to promote and do branding of KDP books?

I've published 2 books via Amazon KDP and I want to keep KDP for the book's fulfillment, while I also registered Seller central mostly to use it to enhance existing product pages as well as branding, however I run into issues like cannot create listing (for my own book in KDP), cannot upload images (for my own book in KDP), i don't know if I should go ahead with brand registry with so many issues on hand now....

Anybody who has same experience or knows the solutions pls I greatly appreciate your inputs~

Amazon provides a heavy emphasis on Seller Central and KDP being two different platforms.

You cannot advertise an item on Amazon within the category of "Book". It can only be done on KDP. Basically, if you are only selling books, you can do it all through KDP. I do not see a need for Seller Central.

Books, usually, do not have trademarks associated to them which would make you ineligible for Brand Registry.

Hi @Seller_kP0EBQNRIMSq9,

As @Seller_NbYSGJ8Tehgbvsaid, you would likely want to fully utilize KDP for selling your books and there's no need to go via Seller Central.
