A question about Automated Pricing
Hi everyone,
I’m a bookseller using automated pricing for several thousand SKUs, and I’m curious if it’s truly working in my best interest. As an FBA seller, I understand that it’s generally acceptable to price items a bit higher than FBM sellers of the same quality and still win the Buybox/Featured Offer.
My question is: if there are no other FBA sellers for an item and my automated pricing is set to match the Featured Offer, will it automatically match the price of the current FBM seller holding the Buybox? Also, will it ever attempt to increase the price in this situation, or does it strictly adhere to the lowest featured price?
I’d appreciate any insights or experiences from fellow sellers using automated pricing strategies.
Thanks!
