A compliance violation can only be lifted after it is successfully appealed, otherwise you will have to wait 180 days for it to be removed off your account.

Here is my experience for an outdoor use shade for Canada unfortunately. They say 'sufficiently address why you listed that product' in the email, I go to the seller account, check boxes (I read policies, etc.) and in the box below it says write your appeal if you want to 'reinstate' the product because you have evidence it's compliant. I wrote 'I don't want to reinstate it and it was an EDI+staff mistake to list in the first place' into the box. Then they deduce my health points :) So I ask how I can 'sufficiently' address WHY I listed that product in the first place (a genuine question btw, I really wanted to know), then I received the same automated answers back. It seems that health point deduction will stay there unless I 'sufficiently' address WHY my EDI and staff made that biggest mistake on Earth.

You don't have to "sufficiently" address, you actually have to get your appeal accepted and prove them wrong by showing that the violation was not correct.

Only you would know the answer to that, because you listed it.

I did not want to try to reinstate so I left that box empty. But no worries, mistakes make us grow. Peace.
