Amazon won't approve my images - very confusing

Hi all,

I am new to FBA selling and am finding it incredibly difficult to list my items and just keep getting generic answers to my queries with Amazon. I am trying to create a bundle item (which fits in with Amazon’s bundle policies). I have added my own images and they are just sat there but not been approved. Every time I raise a case I just get the below reply. I have told them I don’t have any of the things they are asking for. I have a valid UPC number for one of the two items in the bundle. It keeps mentioning changes to images but I’m not trying to change any images. I have my own images that I just want approving.

We understand that you want to update the correct images for ASIN - XXXXXXXXXX.

Please be informed that as per Amazon guidelines, we as the Seller Support team require valid form of document which can validate any of the detail page information update.

Hence, we need you to provide one of these valid forms of documentation which is having valid UPC number :

- Manufacturer’s or Publisher’s (for books) website link clearly showing the suggested changes, along with visible product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.), if available.
- Manufacturer’s catalog (Product User Manual), either scanned image of the physical catalog or PDF version showing the suggested changes, along with visible product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.), if available.
- High-resolution product pictures, clearly showing the suggested changes, along with a visible product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.).
- A high-resolution photo of the item in its original packaging showing the product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.) code and the attribute or attributes that you need to change

Please can anybody help. I’m at my wits end now as I don’t understand what the problem is and I can’t get a straight answer out of them.

The bundle itself needs its own Unique identifier *(barcode / ean) and also approval from the manufacturers of both items allowing them to be sold as a bundle.

Basically, what they are saying, is that you need brand approval to list the item.
So is this your own brand?
Is it brand registered?
Or is this a generic item etc?

Also, if you are creating a bundle, are you aware that you actually need brand permission to do this?

You need to explain more as to what the item is (ie. branded) etc and what exactly it is, that you are trying to do.

I don’t mind doing that but is that going to resolve the images issue? This is what confuses me. The only thing that seems to be holding me up is the image issue. How would getting a barcode from GS1 resolve that?
