Time for me to leave

When my daughter and I closed our brick and mortar bookstore in 2017, we decided to sell off much of our inventory to McKay's in Nashville. But that still left us with a great amount number of books. I decided to enlist the power of Amazon to help sell that. And for a number of years, it was amazing how many sales we had. While the money was never that great, it continued, as time past, to get less and less as Amazon's bots demanded that we lower prices and they took more of the money from each sell. Now, I'm tired of playing their sick game. The other day I sold a book and ended up owing Amazon money for the sale. It wasn't much, but that isn't why I opened this account. We have a few hundred titles left. Somewhere around 430 titles. I'm going to take the remaining titles over the next few days to 2nd and Charles and sell them and give them what they don't want to buy. I know I will only get pennies on the dollar, but then again, that's all I'm getting here. It's been a ride. It seems to me that they have now an automated system that makes decisions. There is basically no one to talk to if there is a problem, and they aren't listening to us. But they are making money off of us. And them a multi million dollar company. So I bid farewell. I will continue to work with Amazon through their publishing endeavors. I'm also doing advertising through them. So the relationship with the corporation will continue for a time. But this is the end of the line for my selling books for Words of Wisdom on this site.
