Account suspended - scary situation all sellers need to be aware of
I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this ridiculous situation that has come up. So apparently what I've been told by account health support was that another seller edited a listing that I had for a first aid rescue choking device and added the word marijuana into the description. My account has since been suspended because of this and I've tried for a month now to get my account reactivated. My account health rating is over 200 and there's no other violations on my account or complaints or anything. Amazon has also removed the call button and has taken away any way for me to even contact them through the help option which is absolutely ridiculous. The only way I am able to even contact Amazon is because I have another account and I can use the contact us button on there and request a call. Now I've called about 25 times in the last month and each time I talk to someone from account health support I get told something completely different or told that I need to submit something else. I'm going to run through what I've been told over the last month from different associates. So one of the first ones told me to delete the listing and that would help make the violation go away. That didn't work. So then I was told to take photos of the item to ensure that it was the same item as the one in the ad which I did in that didn't work. Then I was told I needed to take my item to a medical testing facility and have it tested to prove that it had nothing to do with marijuana which I'm not sure how I'm supposed to bring something to a testing facility for them to say it can't be used for something. Anyways I contacted my supplier and they provided me with a certificate that described it as a medical device in its uses. I submitted that and that didn't reinstate my account. Then I was told by someone that the reason why my account was still inactive because I cannot prove that I didn't edit the listing since I deleted the listing. I'm not sure why Amazon can't just check who edited the listing but each associate tells me that Amazon has no way to check that, which seems absolutely crazy to me. But nevertheless I deleted the listing because the first associate told me to delete the listing and now I can't even go back and see the listing anyways. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the listing that supposedly violates Amazon's policy is still active on Amazon and has never been taken down yet. My account is suspended because the listing apparently violates policies. Also there's dozens of other listings for the exact same product with just different packaging. Anyways, I was told to then send a feed file which is apparently the history of the item listing and so I was able to contact seller support and request that and they would told me that there is no feed file for that listing. This has been hell for the last month trying to just get my account reactivated and being ran around in circles by about 25 different associates who have no idea what they're telling me to do and there's no actual option for me to prove that I didn't edit the listing and add marijuana into the description. Like how am I supposed to prove that I didn't edit a listing? Is it that hard for Amazon to be able to see who edited the listing? This whole situation has caused me a great deal of stress and has made me reconsider ever selling on Amazon again because another seller can completely screw over your account by doing something like this out of nowhere. My account is still suspended and there's really no way for me to get it back and all my funds are being withheld now. This is a scary situation and I think all sellers need to be aware of this. It is not right for Amazon to treat their sellers like this and give them no option to even contact the company to dispute an issue or even have a way for the representatives to know what they're talking about and have them give you proper information of how to solve the situation. Each and every one of the 25 people I have spoken to have been completely confused by the situation and acted as if they were able to solve the solution for me by doing what they said and yet none of what they said has ever worked. If anyone knows what I can do please let me know because I'm completely fed up with trying to contact Amazon to speak with someone else for them to give me the runaround againagain

Hello @Seller_jrZhrd9yaoq9I,
Thank you for posting concerns with your account here on the Seller Forums.
From what you have shared, I see that your account has been deactivated for restricted products specifically and you have questions about how to address this properly.
So that I am able to assist you the best I will need to learn more. Can you share any relevant case ID's created about this issue, so we can take a look? This will allow us to learn details about the deactivation and what is required for your next steps.
I look forward to learning more about your situation. The Forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan

I only sell on amazon.ca
And also if this issue that had absolutely nothing to do with me is so serious my account is deactivated for 2 months now then why is the listing still active and has been since the deactivation
This whole situation is absolutely ridiculous

Just so everyone else is aware my account after 2 months is still suspended after speaking with another five Representatives telling me different things and not being able to help me whatsoever with my appeal. Also now my entire inventory has been destroyed and I have absolutely nothing in stock for I don't know what reason. I have decided to speak with a lawyer to help resolve this issue because this is absolutely unacceptableunacceptable
