Inquiry about Using Debit Card and Reactivating Account

Hey There,

Firstly, I would like to know if it is possible to use a debit card instead of a credit card for transactions on Amazon Health. I do not possess a credit card, but I have a debit card that I prefer to use for online purchases. Could you please confirm if this is feasible?

Secondly, I have noticed that my Amazon Health account has been deactivated. Unfortunately, I am unable to reactivate it through the regular process as it requires a credit card, which I do not have. Could you kindly provide guidance on how I can proceed with reactivating my account without the need for a credit card?

Best regards,

Amazon has updated some of their documentation to indicate that a Debit card is acceptable; however, many people find that they are still not accepted for account approval.

Best bet is to go ahead and get a real credit card. Even if you use it for nothing else, just to get your Amazon account approved. Note that as long as you are selling and have a healthy account, they will not be charging your credit card. And you can continue to use your Debit card for online or other purchases (although you might want to reconsider that; far more protection for the consumer with credit cards).

Thank you for the information provided regarding the concern with the payment you have on file. I understand that you are looking to determine what type of card needs to be on file. We would advise ensuring you have a valid credit card on file.

Once you have updated the card to be a valid form of payment, then you should regain access to your account. Without a credit card, we cannot guarantee a resolution of this concern. Once you have regained access, we would recommend referring to the performance notifications for more information on resolving the issue impacting the account.

We would encourage you to continue to refer to this thread for any other details or questions you have on this particular situation.

Best,

Atlas
