Returned item is not what we sold

We have a buyer who has returned a $1000 order for a single item. Item returned is not what we shipped and sold. The return calim was for product defective or not working.

This is robery in broad daylight.

What option do we have regarding this?

Add a restocking fee.

Mark the product as "Materially different" and make sure the fee is at 100%.

Make sure you have photos and proof of the incorrect product as they may try to fight you on it.

@Seller_eyq5Q5mIyV5gugave you good advice. Just make sure you use buyer/seller messaging to send the buyer pictures of what you sent to them and pictures of what you got back from them.

Please refer to this thread for more detailed information.

Thanks, Susan
