Are we allowed to connect with other sellers on these forums or does Amazon BLOCK US

I was wondering if there is a way to connect with other sellers. I see we aren't able to direct message with each other. That's disappointing. Are we allowed to share our emails? Or anything where we might me able to speak outside of the forums? It's nice to connect and on some topics, I am sure we don't want everyone to see what we are talking about especially when we get down to say, industry-specific or product-specific conversations.
