Restricted product - butylphenyl methylpropional (Lilial)
Hi,
We've been having issues with Amazon for a couple of months now. Amazon started to put violations into our markets (mostly ES, IT, BE, but all of the markets are affected) regarding an ingredient that does not exist in the products we sell...
We keep on sending photos of the ingredients list of the affected products, Amazon wants to update the product detail pages, however we're unable to do this, because we did not create those offers and cannot modify them.
Never ending cases, plenty of phone calls, our KAM do not help, nothing helps. People from Amazon during phone calls tell me that there's nothing I can do if I cannot modify the listing. For this reason, 4 of my markets are deactivated.
Due to this absurd situation, we're thinking of closing the account.
I wonder if anyone successfully removed those violations in a situation like ours?

Hi @Seller_34cVnbUFpT7v0,
thanks for sharing your experience on the seller forums.
I'm Jona from Amazon.
As you already mentioned that you were in contact with Amazon, do you have a Case ID that you could share here?
Thanks,
Jona

I have had the same problem. Dozens ad dozens of my products have been removed becasue they allegedly contain Lilial (which they do NOT). I have raised the matter dozens of time with Amazon, each time my appeal was rejected.. One third of my inventory is now not availale on Amazon!

Hi,
I have exactly same problems. My french account was desactivated due to several 'lilial' violations for inactive ASIN I kept into my inventory with 0 stock and without any sale in last 360 days.
Impossible to delete these violation because even if product have been reformulated and that I prove it, I'm not the right owner of the brand for theses asins. I cannot change anything on product images or ingredient list into them.
Seller on Amazon for more than 12 years, I have done a detailed ACTION PLAN to explain this problem to performance team that was rejected.
My account now is on risk to be totally blocked for old asins which had remained in my inventory with a stock at 0, which I did not even sell, of course which I should have deleted to avoid getting to that point... still I had to know that they contained the prohibited ingredient given that their list of ingredients was not provided into their products fields...
If you have a solution or an ACTION PLAN that Amazon want to hear, I would appreciate..

Hi everyone,
I have been informed that the issue related to the violations has been solved. @SellerInTransit the inactive ASINs should not affect your account health anymore, is this correct?
However, I am still waiting for confirmation about changes on the product detail pages. Was anyone of you able to update the product detail page recently, to reinstate the ASINs?
Let me know.
Jona
