Are FBM sellers liable to cover import costs?
Hi there, I am a private FBM (not VAT registered) seller in the UK and only sell occasional low value / 2nd hand CDs, DVDs and books. I am interested to know if I am liable for any import costs if I were to sell to Europe? At the moment Amazon dictate postage costs with no allowance for import duty.

Hey, unfortunately Amazon expect you to send it DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) so you’d need to pay the import costs upfront so the customer had no additional costs
