Different SKU's of same product at FBA

Hello.

I started selling under one SKU for some time and when I tried to replenish the stock by sending more to FBA, I got an error message and it stated that I now must use Amazon barcodes and not product barcode. I have now created a NEW SKU to use Amazon barcoding.

I still have one in stock of the old SKU and incoming stock on the new SKU, the question is…will there be separate lines under the same listing from me as a seller? I know you can merge ASIN’s but I can’t seem to find the option for SKU’s? unless I just wait till the old SKU sells out, if that is the only way forward?

No, you close the new listing and allow the old one to sell of the stock.
You have no choice, but to use a new SKU as they won’t allow you to convert the old one.
Yes, if you have stock sent in on the new SKU, it will temporarily go into stranded. But you have up to about 30 days to do something about that. And if necessary, you can reset the clock on that, by making the SKU active again, the closing again.

And no, you cannot move the stock between SKU’s.

Strictly speaking, you should not have more than one offer with the same delivery method.
But there is no reason why you can’t send the stock in just before the other SKU runs out and temporarily close the listing.

Hey @Loopsandpluto,

Did you get this solved with the workaround?
