ASIN removed - professional use item

Has anyone every had ASINs deleted due to amazon claiming the item is professional use only?

The item clearly isn’t - its commonly sold at most major pet supply websites, other marketplaces and its been sold on amazon for approx 4 years - then today, deleted and told I must remove stock.

Obviously I opened a case, stated there must have been an error but obviously, like with most of these things you just get a blanket response.

Has anyone had this and successfully appealed the decision - I have a fair few units of this, which is quite expensive that I may now be stuck with.

Not heard of this one before, what is it… if you don’t mind? If you’ve tried SS with no luck perhaps try the md? Did SS say they’re looking into it? Be polite and concise when emailing the md, I’ve never used them but seen it can take them a while to reply so being patient is key.

I can’t say they’ll reply before your units have to be out though.

There have been posts about this before, typically related to the sale of dental products. Hard to give much advice other than to make sure nothing was changed on the listing that could’ve gotten picked up by a bot.

The only thing I can think has caused this is the MSDS states “professional use only”.

Thing is - everything by made by this manufacturer states that.

Don’t think I can get around it, as its clear as day in the MSDS

So amazon destroyed my items, only now for the ASIN to be back, and available for sale…

lucky only 10 units in stock so only a loss of approx £120…
