FBA small parcel shipment question
I have been struggling to send a shipment to FBA in step 2 of the workflow. I am selling a two pack product that is in a padded envelope. The dimensions are 9x6x3 and weigh 1 lb. This shipment will be 100 units. Am I not able to pack these padded envelopes in 3 larger boxes and ship it out that way using small parcel delivery? When I get to step 2 they recognize them as 100 units to be shipped to FBA individually. It is obviously not cost effective to send them out that way. The quoted amount to send 100 envelopes was around $622. I was trying to find answers on Seller U and tried finding options on the workflow screen and could not. In step 1, it prompts you to enter how many boxes you are sending out. I typed in 100 boxes and still brought me to sending each one individually using Amazon's partner carrier UPS. The other option is LTL and is considerably less, but not ideal shipping 100 loose padded envelopes. I ship to FBA with another product, but that goes on multiple pallets using LTL. This is my first time shipping to FBA using small parcel delivery and can't find the right answers. I am hoping someone can give me some insight on this matter. Thanks!

Yes, of course. If you write that you send 100 boxes the system will WAIT that you send 100 boxes individually.
How many big boxes do you bring to your post office? 100? I don't think so. You have to create customs and other documents for the post office. How many boxes to you count in these documents?
Did you put these two packs in ONE polybag with ONE FNSKU on each polybag?

No, it asks you how many products you are sending out, means how many double portions. If you have a specific number of units in ONE box in your shipping template, chose "Individual" and you put the number of units (which are in a padded envelope) you want to send. 1 padded envelope = 1 unit. (Hopefully your listing also says 2-pack)
So, just create three shipping plans to avoid any accident....

Hi @Seller_jju8M9uFCab7i
I understand your frustration with the shipping workflow. Yes, you absolutely can pack multiple units into larger boxes for shipment to FBA using small parcel delivery! Let me help clarify the process.
The issue appears to be in how you're entering the information in Step 1. When it asks for the number of boxes, you should enter the actual number of master cartons you'll be using (in your case, 3 boxes), not the total number of units (100).
Here's what you need to do:
- Go back to Step 1
- Enter "3" for the number of boxes (or however many master cartons you plan to use)
- Move to Step 2
- When packing, you'll distribute your 100 units among these 3 boxes
The system is currently treating each individual padded envelope as a separate package because you entered 100 boxes, which is why you're seeing that high shipping cost.
Remember that each master carton should:
- Not exceed 50 lbs
- Meet Amazon's standard box requirements
- Be properly labeled with the correct FBA labels
Make these adjustments and you should see a much more reasonable shipping cost for your small parcel delivery.

First, determine a standard box template for your larger cases. A box you will always use, you know how big it is, how many can fit in the box, and how much that box weighs. That is the template you will use every time you restock. Now, each unit will require a sticker code of some kind, either a UPC or an FNSKU to be checked in upon receiving, in addition to a suffocation warning if it has a plastic bag. Then, back on the workflow page, you will input how many boxes you are sending in total. It will multiply the number of boxes by the total units included. You will need to hit confirm shipment and then print shipping labels. As a note, SPD is more expensive, but items are ingested faster than using a pallet. The cost has also risen in the past year, so you might want to consider planning your inventory ahead and including other items in need of restock.
