Unfair Removal of ASIN & Selective Enforcement – Request for Clarity
Hi everyone,
I’m posting here in hopes of getting some clarity and visibility on an issue I’ve been facing with Amazon UK Seller Support regarding the repeated removal of a dental product from my inventory. Earlier this year, my listing was taken down with the reasoning that this type of dental product is not permitted on Amazon UK. I provided the requested documentation, and the listing was reinstated—suggesting that my product met Amazon’s requirements. However, the same listing has now been removed again for the exact same reason. What’s more confusing is that multiple other sellers are still listing and actively selling nearly identical dental products with the same ingredients and uses, and they are not being taken down. I’ve asked Seller Support for clarification multiple times and received no direct answers—just generic template replies and ignorance.
Here are the specific questions I’ve asked (and still haven’t received proper responses to):
Why was my listing removed again after it was previously reinstated following documentation approval?
Which exact Amazon UK policy prohibits this product? (I’ve asked for a link—none has been provided.)
If such a policy exists, why is it not enforced equally across all sellers?
Are there any differences between my product and those still listed and never affected? If so, what are they?
I’ve found numerous active listings for similar or even identical products, which raises concerns about inconsistent enforcement.
If anyone has faced something similar or has insight into how this might be resolved, I’d really appreciate your input.
Thanks.
