Your appeal for Brand Registry enrollment application "Cape fish cards & souvenirs" has been rejected.

Why did this happen?

This decision was made since we could not verify the registered business name and business identifier (for example: tax ID number or business ID number) provided by you at the time of submitting the appeal form.

Brand Registry Case ID: 17528154871

We've been selling on Amazon for many years and decided to get a brand. We submitted a brand application based on the recently registered trademark. This is the error we got. Almost immediately after the application submission. It sounds like some automation validation check failed. But it doesn't tell what is wrong with our information. We can see that business information is in place and matches tax information. Could you please assist in clarifying what is incorrect?

You made your USPTO application five days ago. I would say wait still some days.

Your "Legal Entity" in your seller account matches exactly the brand owner according to the USPTO (I.B. from Ukraine)? And tax ID and business ID in your account settings match exactly I.B. from Ukraine?

MAYBE also you have to wait some months that the brand is going from "Pending" to "Registered" in the USPTO.

Hi there @Seller_tj2UqtoYlIGFa

I can see that your trademark is owned by an individual yet you stated that the business owns it. Because of this you will need to either show how that individual is tied to the brand through documentation and attach it to the appeal case OR you can attempt to ask the enrollment team to let you reapply as an individual which you can also do on the appeal case.
