Late Deliveries, Lost Orders, and No Compensation—What’s Going On?
Amazon’s Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) service has been a constant source of frustration lately. Here’s what I’ve been dealing with:
Late Deliveries: I placed an MCF order on the 7th, and half a month later, it still hasn’t arrived. I even created an expedited order to resolve the delay, only to be told that it’s delayed too! If an address isn’t deliverable, why doesn’t the system warn us or restrict order creation? Charging fees immediately but failing to deliver on time isn’t acceptable.
Lost Orders: Trying to apply for compensation for a lost order is a nightmare. Even after providing proof that the original shipment wasn’t delivered, Amazon demands refund or replacement proof. But the customer doesn’t want a refund or a different product—they want the exact item they ordered! Why should we have to provide proof that the buyer accepted something else?
No Accountability: If you can’t deliver on time and accurately, the least you could do is refund the shipping fees or offer compensation. But none of this happens. Sellers are stuck, customers are upset, and Amazon just charges fees without providing the promised service.
