Approval Restrictions for NHP in Health & Personal Care Category

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently encountered a challenge with listing my **natural health supplement** on Amazon, and I wanted to start a discussion to better understand the situation and gather insights from other sellers.

When attempting to list the product, I received the following message:

> **"Request selling approval for policy compliance

> Reason: Product requires approval to sell.

> We are not accepting applications to sell:

> - Other Health & Personal Care category in Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)

> - Other Health & Personal Care category in Used condition(s)

> - Other product(s)"**

Here’s some context:

- It’s in **new condition** with proper certifications and safety standards met.

- However, it seems like there’s a blanket restriction on certain health and personal care products under specific conditions.

### Questions for the Community:

1. Has anyone successfully listed NHP or similar supplements recently?

2. Are these restrictions specifically tied to NHP, or is this a broader restriction on the Health & Personal Care category?

3. What steps can I take to address this issue or get clarification from Amazon?

Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. I want to ensure I’m fully compliant with Amazon’s policies while also making my product available to customers.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I am not sure if this will help but we had the same problems. Dealing directly with Amazon stafff was - as always - a confusing nightmare. They have you running around in circles without ever actually solving the problem.

Here is what we eventually tried - and succeeded doing - to get listings on Amazon.

First, go to the inventory/manage all inventory page.

Click the "add product" button top right of page.

Enter the details of your productt - such as "eye drops" (or whatever it is and press enter.

On the "key search results" page that appears next, click on the "create a new listing" option just below the keyword search box.

On the "Generate Listing Content" page that appears next, enter some details about your product and then PRESS THE "Generate Content" button. This uses A.I. to create

DO NOT make claims such as "treats" "cures" "effective"" etc etc

Because Amazons A.I. generated the Item Name we found we no longer got the usual nonesense from Amazon telling us to put the instructions in french and english, load images of all sides of the product packageing etc etc.

I cannot of course guarantee this will work for you but it worked for us.

Good luck.

Hello @Seller_CAFNiJ6LarJ97

Christine here from Amazon Forums.

I would like to know if you have contacted our seller support team.

If so, can you please share the case ID so I can take a look.

Christine
