Sole Proprietor/LLC
Hello, so I set up my seller account as a sole proprietor but want to start an LLC under the same name. Is it possible to switch the sole to an LLC? What is the process? Do I have to close my sole proprietor and open a new store under the LLC? Is there a Seller Central Support directly to Amazon, not just the forums?

Good Morning @Seller_q3ZVoYEPtwytg - I wanted to check in on your thread and see if you still required assistance regarding changing from a Sole Proprietor to an LLC?

Additionally, I wanted to share a link to the U.S. Income Reporting & Tax Identity Collection FAQ page and call out the following section:
How do I update my tax information and legal business name?
To update your tax information, you must complete the U.S. Tax Identity Information Interview.
To update your legal business name:
- Go to Settings and click Account Info.
- Under Business Information, click Legal Entity.
- Enter your Legal Business Name and click Update.
